The mud-pie kitchen is open and the kids are loving it! We have the addition of a microwave (got from free-cycle, the woman surprised at the excitement of a family collecting a broken, non-working piece of kitchen kit!)
Busby quickly worked out that his sisters can get quite caught up in food prep and self-nominated himself as the customer in the cafe! Of course he had to set the cafe up first, as chairs and tables had been blown around the garden by April's non-stop wind and rain!
The girls twirled too and from the microwave, preparing the feast...
adding sauce (muddy water) and herbs to garnish!
Little legs were blurred in frenzied food prep.
And soon a starter of soup was served!
Busby sat blowing it cool enough to eat!
Then additional bits were added to transform it into the main course...
as Tilly proudly served her pudding of hand painted pebbles covered in a sauce of mud gloop!
Busby forgot for a moment it was pretend and swigged the mud water to clear his palette between courses!
And as with all the best meals, the man was then abandoned to do the washing up alone!
Loving watching these mud-pie kitchen feasts! Kiddies, this Mummy loves you all to the moon and back xxx
